Founder, Producer, Creative Director
Hello, I'm Yuki.
I was born and raised in Kyoto, Japan, and moved to the United States at 18. I arrived with almost nothing, no connections, no clear roadmap, no financial security. I truly started from zero. But starting from zero taught me something powerful. When you believe in yourself fully and give one hundred percent to what you pursue, the outcome eventually follows.
My creative journey began long before I knew it would become my career. It started with my late grandfather. He loved taking random photographs, quietly capturing moments through his lens. Watching him, I inherited that same curiosity for the camera. On school trips, at friends’ gatherings, during events, I was never the one in front of the camera. I was always behind it, documenting memories simply because I loved to.
That hobby turned into helping a young artist create his album cover. That project turned into photography work. Photography turned into production. Step by step, that path became what Yuki Kodo Creative Studio is today.
I created this studio to build more than just a production company. I wanted to create a platform where diverse creatives could gather, collaborate, and build something meaningful together. To me, creativity is not just about aesthetics. It is about identity, discipline, and the courage to bring a vision into reality.
The biggest value I hold in life is discipline. Motivation may spark the beginning, but discipline is what carries you through. When you have discipline, you hold power, the power to show up every day regardless of the outcome. I deeply respect creatives who build their careers and identities with that same consistency and resilience. That quiet commitment is what truly shapes artistry.
Everything I do comes from that mindset. I pour myself fully into every project, every collaboration, every vision entrusted to me. When you live with that level of commitment, results become a natural extension, not the goal, but the consequence.
Yuki Kodo Creative Studio is built on curiosity, courage, discipline, and belief. And I am grateful every day that what started as my grandfather’s simple hobby became a lifelong calling.
